Work Permits
What documents do I need to submit to apply for a renewal of my work permit?
Short-Term Work Permits (permits up to 11 months in duration) require the following documentation:
- Application form C-3, which you print off from our website
- A cover letter from the prospective employer on headed notepaper
- One passport-sized photo of the proposed employee against a white background
- A copy of the proposed employee's passport biodata page
- Documentary evidence (i.e., originals and copies) of the proposed employee's qualifications
Long-Term Work Permits (between 1-3 years* in duration) require the following documentation:
- Completed Application Forms C-1 and C-2, printed off from our website
- Cover letter from the prospective employer on headed notepaper
- Four passport-sized photos of the proposed employee against a white background
- Copy of the proposed employee's passport biodata page
- Fully completed Medical Form R1, including VDRL Report (available from our website)
*In the international business arena, permits can be issued for up to 5 years.
