When do I pay the fee for my Work Permit?
The application fee ($300 Barbados dollars) is paid when you submit your application. The element of the fee payable upon receipt of the work permit approval letter will depend on the type of work permit approved, its duration, and the employee's nationality. For an indication of this fee element, please contact the Work Permit Section at immigration.workpermits@barbados.gov.bb.
For CARICOM nationals, there are separate fees payable, so please identify whether you are a CARICOM or non-CARICOM national at the time of enquiry with the Barbados Immigration Department.
