Student Visas
I am from a CARICOM country and am under the age of 16, do I need a Barbados student visa in order to attend school in Barbados?
As a CARICOM national under age 16, you are not required to apply for a Barbados Student Visa. You are, however, required to "Register" with the Barbados Immigration Department so that you acquire "Registered Student" status in order to attend school in Barbados.
CARICOM students over the age of 16 must apply for a Student Visa. They cannot seek Registered Student status.
